The Academy of the Arts is designed for students to find and develop their voices as artists. Offering pathways in fine and performing arts including dance, instrumental music, theatre, vocal music and visual arts, the passion to create is the common thread that ties our academy together.
It is the mission of the Arts Academy at Jesse C. Carson High School to educate and prepare students for the twenty-first century through stringent academic requirements, a concentration of fine or performing arts as a discipline, and service learning through the arts in preparation for post-secondary education.
Current Rowan-Salisbury School students may apply as an incoming freshman to Jesse Carson High School Arts Academy. Students new to the district may apply upon registration.
For more information about applying to the Arts Academy, students may meet with a guidance counselor to determine if the academy aligns with individual goals for high school and beyond.
